FT Medical Assistant needed for busy orthopedic clinic in North OKC
Responsibilities:
- Room patients and obtain vitals and reason for visit
- Charting in EHR (Epic) and processing paperwork to check out
- Assist physician with exams and in-office procedures
- Scheduling diagnostic procedures and surgeries
- Phone triage
- Prescription refills
- Clean and stock patient rooms
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
- Experience in an orthopedic surgeons office a plus
- Experience with Electronic Health Records (Epic) preferred but not required
- Must be able to multi-task while being efficient, friendly and professional while maintaining excellent patient care
- High School Graduate or equivalent required (GED)
