Front Desk Receptionist needed for high volume orthopedic clinic in North Oklahoma City
- The Front Desk Receptionist is the first point of contact for patients and visitors and plays a key role in ensuring a welcoming and professional environment
- Monday-Friday, no weekends or major holidays
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients
- Answer calls, take messages and re-direct calls as necessary
- Checking patients in/out
- Enter all patient data quickly and efficiently
- Verify demographics and insurance during check-in
- Will ensure all intake information is provided
- Collect co-pays/balances during the visit
- Scheduling follow up appointments
- Chart preparation, scanning/indexing medical records and other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- Only resumes with a minimum one year medical office experience will be considered
- Strong communication skills
- Strong work ethic and dependability is required
- Position is very fast-paced and requires attention to detail and multi-tasking
- Knowledge of electronic medical records (Epic) preferred but not required
- High School Graduate or equivalent (GED)
