A full-service international law firm is seeking a Business Development Specialist for their Litigation Business Development team.

What You Will Be Doing
§ Proposal and Pitch Support: Supports the Business Development Managers in preparing sophisticated, thoughtful, and persuasive pitch materials, including responding to client RFPs and developing tailored marketing collateral.
§ Event Coordination: Supports the planning and execution of firm-hosted programs including in-person thought leadership, webinars, and client receptions, as well as coordinates sponsorships to fully leverage benefits.
§ Market Research: In collaboration with the Library & Research Services team, reviews and conducts research on companies, industries, marketplaces, and competitors related to pitches and other strategic initiatives; develops insights and communicates recommendations and applicable information to lawyers.
§ Competitive Analysis: Gathers intelligence on legal industry trends to provide attorneys with an understanding of the competitive landscape and to position the firm for increased effectiveness in winning new business.
§ Rankings and Directories: Contributes to market recognition efforts, including overseeing the development of legal directory submissions (Benchmark Litigation, Chambers USA, Legal 500, etc.).
§ Content Management: Supports the management of the firm's experience database (Foundation) and contact management system (InterAction), including activity tagging, updating database content, and performing queries and generating reports as needed.
§ Marketing Communications: Coordinates with Communications and Digital Marketing teams to propose and support marketing communications-related activities, such as website updates, improvements to attorney biographies and online profiles including LinkedIn.
§ Reporting and Analytics: Supports the Business Development Director and Managers in tracking and reporting on Litigation Department and California Regional business development activities, including client victories, pitch wins, cross-selling activities, thought leadership opportunities, etc.
§ Performs special projects as requested by Clients & Markets leadership team.
§ Displays integrity, quality service and a “can do” attitude to internal members/departments of the firm as well as external clients and vendors via email and written correspondence, over the telephone and in-person.

Salary : $92,240 - $117,800
