Strategic Sourcing Manager

A growing, mission-driven organization is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead the development and management of supplier contracts that support a broad community of members. This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity offering up to $120,000 plus bonus potential, based in Hadley, MA, with flexibility for a hybrid schedule.

As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will take full ownership of a supplier portfolio, working end-to-end across the procurement life cycle to drive value and deliver results. You’ll play a vital role in aligning supplier partnerships with member needs while promoting supplier offerings and ensuring ongoing contract performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategically position your portfolio to deliver value and encourage supplier participation
• Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers aligned with member needs and purchasing patterns
• Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and actively promote their products/services to members
• Manage the full contract lifecycle: market research, RFPs, bid processes, evaluations, and awards
• Monitor supplier and contract performance to support data-driven decision-making
• Collaborate cross-functionally to expand contract offerings in line with evolving member needs
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
• 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing across multiple supplier categories
• MCPPO certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain with company support)
• Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
• High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
