As a Strategic Sourcing Manager, you will take full ownership of a supplier portfolio, working end-to-end across the procurement life cycle to drive value and deliver results. You’ll play a vital role in aligning supplier partnerships with member needs while promoting supplier offerings and ensuring ongoing contract performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategically position your portfolio to deliver value and encourage supplier participation
- Identify, vet, and onboard new suppliers aligned with member needs and purchasing patterns
- Cultivate strong relationships with suppliers and actively promote their products/services to members
- Manage the full contract lifecycle: market research, RFPs, bid processes, evaluations, and awards
- Monitor supplier and contract performance to support data-driven decision-making
- Collaborate cross-functionally to expand contract offerings in line with evolving member needs
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or related field
- 5 years of experience in procurement or strategic sourcing across multiple supplier categories
- MCPPO certification is a plus (or willingness to obtain with company support)
- Strong organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage competing priorities
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite
