Senior Compensation Analyst
Location: Watertown, MA – Hybrid, 3 days onsite
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:00 PM
Compensation: $115,000–$120,000
A well-established organization in the Greater Boston area is seeking a Senior Compensation Analyst to join its Human Resources team. This individual will play a key role in the administration, analysis, and ongoing development of compensation programs while partnering closely with HR, Finance, Payroll, and business leaders.
The ideal candidate has strong hands-on compensation experience and is comfortable serving as a go-to resource for market pricing, salary administration, job evaluations, annual compensation planning, and compensation analytics.

Responsibilities Include
- Support and help lead the annual compensation planning cycle, including merit increases, promotions, market adjustments, bonuses, and incentive programs
- Conduct market pricing and compensation benchmarking
- Maintain salary structures, pay ranges, job levels, and compensation guidelines
- Prepare compensation recommendations for new hires, promotions, transfers, and other employee changes
- Conduct job evaluations and support job leveling and classification
- Perform pay equity and internal equity analyses
- Develop compensation models, reporting, and cost-impact analyses
- Maintain accurate compensation and employee data within HR systems
- Partner with HR, Payroll, and Finance on compensation-related reporting and data needs
- Participate in compensation surveys and analyze market data
- Support compensation compliance, documentation, audits, and process improvements
- Provide compensation guidance and recommendations to HR and business leaders
- 5–7 years of progressive compensation experience
- Strong experience with market pricing, salary administration, job evaluation, and compensation analysis
- Experience supporting annual merit and compensation planning cycles
- Strong knowledge of pay equity, FLSA, wage and hour, and compensation-related regulations
- Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, modeling, and data analysis
- Experience working with HRIS and compensation systems; UKG experience is strongly preferred
- Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities while working with highly confidential information
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field preferred
- CCP certification is a plus
