Candidates should be comfortable in the courtroom and managing sensitive complex matters.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of family law matters, including divorce, custody, and related issues
- Draft, file, and argue motions
- Conduct depositions and manage discovery
- Represent clients in court proceedings
- Provide strategic legal advice and guidance to clients
- Negotiate settlements and advocate effectively on clients’ behalf
- 5–15 years of experience practicing family law
- Strong knowledge of Massachusetts family law and court procedures
- Experience drafting motions and handling litigation matters
- Proficiency in conducting depositions
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong negotiation and advocacy abilities
- High attention to detail and strong organizational skills
- Admission to the Massachusetts Bar required, New Hampshire a plus!
- Experience handling contested and complex family law cases a plus!
