Paralegal – Litigation (Medical Malpractice)

A respected Boston law firm is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal with at least 2 years of litigation experience to join its Medical Malpractice department for this hybrid role. This is a great opportunity for a skilled paralegal who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and enjoys working closely with attorneys on complex cases.

About The Role

As a key member of the litigation team, you’ll help support the defense various medical facilities. Your day-to-day work will include:

• Organizing and reviewing case files to prepare attorneys for hearings, depositions, and trial
• Drafting pleadings, discovery requests, and correspondence
• Managing subpoenas and authorizations to obtain medical and employment records
• Summarizing depositions and medical documents
• Assisting with case management and monitoring deadlines
• Performing document analysis and supporting trial preparation
  
  

What You Bring

• At least 2 years of litigation experience, with medical malpractice experience preferred
• Strong research, writing, and communication skills
• Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple deadlines
• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Experience with PDF editing software, including Bates stamping and document management
• A collaborative mindset and a strong attention to detail
