Customer Service Representative - Defense Manufacturing

About the Role

We are seeking a detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our defense manufacturing team. This position plays a critical role in supporting our customers while maintaining the high standards required in the defense industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as primary point of contact for customer inquiries, orders, and account management
• Process customer orders and coordinate with production and logistics teams
• Utilize SAP modules to manage customer data, orders, and inventory information
• Generate reports and track order status through SAP system
• Resolve customer issues promptly and professionally while maintaining compliance with defense industry regulations
• Coordinate with internal departments including sales, production, and shipping
• Maintain accurate customer records and documentation
• Support contract administration and compliance requirements

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred)
• Experience with SAP modules (SAP ERP experience required)
• 2 years of customer service experience, preferably in manufacturing or defense industry
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Qualifications

• Understanding of defense industry regulations and compliance requirements
• Experience with government contracts
• Background in manufacturing or industrial environments
