Salary Range: $150,000 – $175,000

We are seeking an experienced Group Account Director to lead strategic client partnerships and guide high-performing teams delivering impactful brand experiences, content initiatives, and integrated marketing programs. This role is ideal for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy, creativity, and client leadership.

The Group Account Director will oversee key client relationships, mentor account teams, and ensure the successful delivery of complex programs that drive meaningful results. This individual must be comfortable balancing big-picture thinking with detailed execution, while maintaining strong client relationships and business performance.

Key Responsibilities

Client Relationship Leadership

  • Build and grow relationships with key strategic clients, serving as a trusted advisor and primary point of contact.
  • Take a consultative approach to helping clients navigate business challenges and identify new opportunities for growth.
  • Represent the voice of the client internally, ensuring alignment across teams and project goals.

Team Leadership & Collaboration

  • Lead and mentor Account Directors, Account Managers, and cross-functional teams.
  • Foster a collaborative, supportive environment that encourages innovation, accountability, and professional development.
  • Partner closely with strategy, creative, production, and operations teams to deliver exceptional work.

Program & Campaign Delivery

  • Guide integrated teams in the execution of events, brand experiences, and multi-channel marketing initiatives.
  • Ensure projects maintain strategic clarity, creative excellence, and operational efficiency from concept through execution.
  • Lead senior-level client presentations, proposals, and new business pitches.

Financial Oversight

  • Manage the financial health of a portfolio of accounts, including forecasting, contracts, revenue planning, and profitability.
  • Identify risks early and proactively address challenges to ensure successful outcomes.
  • Partner with leadership on long-term account planning and business growth strategies.

Industry Insight

  • Stay current on trends across experiential marketing, events, and integrated marketing strategies.
  • Bring new ideas and insights to help clients innovate and evolve their marketing approach.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of best practices within the client services team.

Qualifications

  • 10–15 years of experience in an agency environment
  • Strong background in experiential marketing, event marketing, or integrated marketing programs
  • Proven experience managing complex client accounts and cross-functional teams
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Strong financial and business acumen
  • Strategic, proactive, and solutions-oriented mindset
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop teams
  • Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred
