Responsibilities
- Clear and reset tables efficiently, maintaining cleanliness and organization throughout service hours
- Assist in bussing tables by removing used dishes, glassware, and silverware while adhering to proper cleaning procedures
- Deliver food orders promptly from the kitchen to guest tables with accuracy and professionalism
- Support food safety standards by handling food carefully and following proper food handling protocols
- Assist kitchen staff with basic food preparation tasks when needed, ensuring smooth service flow
- Maintain cleanliness in dining areas, including sweeping floors and sanitizing surfaces regularly
- Communicate effectively with servers, kitchen staff, and guests to ensure seamless service delivery using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
Qualifications
- Previous experience in food service or restaurant environments is preferred but not required; a willingness to learn is essential
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, guest-focused attitude
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and safe lifting practices
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical tasks for extended periods during shifts
- Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus but not mandatory
- Basic understanding of restaurant operations and customer service principles
