Job Title: CNC Vertical Mill Machinist (Operator) – Temporary Assignment
Short-Term Opportunity | Immediate Need –Start next week!!
We are seeking a CNC Vertical Mill Machine Operator for a 1-week temporary assignment from April 6 through April 10. This is a great opportunity for an experienced machinist available for short-term work to step in and make an immediate impact.
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Pay: $20 – $25 per hour (based on experience)
Duration: 1 Week (April 6 – April 10)
What You’ll Do:
- Set up and operate CNC vertical mills to produce precision parts
- Select tooling, set offsets, and optimize speeds/feeds
- Inspect finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision tools
- Maintain tight tolerances and ensure quality standards are met
- Troubleshoot machining issues and make adjustments as needed
- Perform routine machine maintenance and maintain a clean work area
What You Bring:
- Experience with CNC vertical mill setup and operation
- Strong attention to detail and precision measurement skills
- Ability to quickly step in and work independently
