The Encompass Group is working with a purpose-driven design/build firm dedicated to serving churches, ministries, schools, and faith-based organizations through innovative and mission-aligned design and construction solutions.
They are seeking a detail-oriented Construction Project Manager to lead projects from pre-construction through completion. This role emphasizes coordination, budget and schedule management, and ensuring successful project execution while maintaining quality and alignment with the client’s mission.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage construction projects from pre-construction through closeout, ensuring delivery on time and within budget.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and resource plans.
- Coordinate with internal design, engineering, and construction teams, as well as external consultants and subcontractors.
- Oversee procurement processes, including bidding, vendor selection, and contract management.
- Monitor jobsite progress, conduct site visits, and ensure adherence to plans, specifications, and safety standards.
- Review construction documents for constructability and coordinate with design teams to resolve issues.
- Track project costs, manage change orders, and ensure financial accountability.
- Maintain clear communication with clients, providing regular updates on project status, risks, and milestones.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, zoning ordinances, and ADA regulations.
- Lead project meetings and foster collaboration among all stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (preferred, not required)
- 5–8 years of experience in construction project management, preferably in design/build environments.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building systems.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
