How You Will Make An Impact
- Document daily site activities and progress reports to maintain project transparency and accountability.
- Coordinate essential project activities and job meetings to ensure all team members remain aligned.
- Review architectural and engineering designs to verify that project execution matches contract documents.
- Maintain detailed logs and filing systems to support efficient contract administration and quality assurance.
- Follow-up aggressively on open issues and technical details to keep construction moving forward.
- Interface with contractor superintendents and testing services to verify compliance with safety codes.
- Responsible for effectively and efficiently managing public construction projects.
- Support pre-construction efforts by evaluating design processes against the owner’s specific requirements.
- High level of computer literacy and proficiency with standard office software.
- Ability to read and understand basic architectural and engineering plans.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to act as a self-starter in a field environment.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills for preparing meeting notes and reports.
- Physical capability to climb ladders and work in varied hot and cold weather conditions.
- High level of computer literacy and experience preparing detailed meeting notes.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Computer skills and proficiency in MS office suite.
- Associates Degree in a related field of study or trade level management experience.
- Up to 5 years of experience in construction management, scheduling or quality assurance.
- Familiarity with civil, structural, electrical, and mechanical design sequences.
- Advanced understanding of contract administration and regulatory agency coordination.
- HVAC or electrical experience is a plus.
- Commercial roofing experience is a plus.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus
