What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at the Chickasaw Nation?
We are currently looking for a Part-Time 38 Night Auditor to join our Treasure Valley Hotel Front Desk Unit 2 team located at The Inn at Treasure Valley.
Summary:
Responsible for the operation of the Front Desk to include: room rental, reservation management, record keeping, report preparation, and guest relations in accordance with established policies and procedures.
Responsibilities:

- Verifies and balances entries and records of financial transactions reported by various hotel departments during the day, using adding, bookkeeping, and calculating machines
- Handles routine customer complaints and incidents, exhibiting the appropriate discretion to identify situations that require the attention of supervisory personnel
- Ensures employees and resources complete assigned training and development
- Checks guests and group tours in and out of the hotel
- Partners with all departments, Housekeeping, Maintenance, etc., to ensure they are aware of incoming and outgoing guests to ensure hotel amenities and services are available
- Serves as lead worker in assigned area
- Mentors, coaches, and assists in training lower-level staff
- May review the work quality and or quantity of lower-level staff
- May provide input on performance appraisals for lower-level staff
- May be required to act as Supervisor on Duty in the absence of the Supervisor to ensure all operational standards are maintained
- Serves as subject matter expert for work tasks and duties performed
- Oversees work of assigned staff for quality, quantity, compliance with internal controls, process, etc.
- May be responsible for adjusting staff assignments based on business needs

- Audits and reconciles credit card receipts, cash received, and balances the cash drawer across all shifts for accuracy and accountability
- May be required to act as Manager on Duty in the absence of the manager to ensure all operational standards are maintained
