What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facility Services Assistant position at the Chickasaw Nation?
We are currently looking for a Full Time Facility Services Assistant to join our Health Facility Services Floor Care team located at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center working 4 p.m. to 1 a.m.
Summary:
Performs any combination of cleaning tasks for assigned areas and facilities, including hospital, gaming, manufacturing and office environments, restrooms and corridors to maintain a clean and sanitary work environment.
Responsibilities:
- Cleans assigned area
- Cleans and sweeps floors
- Cleans and sanitizes bathrooms
- May empty ash trays
- Disposes of trash
- May clean exterior areas such as parking lots and sidewalks
- Aligns seats close to machines in gaming areas
- Sweeps, mops, dusts, vacuums and performs basic cleaning and janitorial procedures
- Dusts, polishes, and cleans furniture in common areas and other areas as requested
- Cleans windows, doors, mirrors, glass partitions, baseboards, jambs, trim and walls, maintain sanitization of restrooms, empty and clean waste receptacles
- Mixes various cleaning agents and use cleaning solutions to remove stains and clean surfaces
- Maintains equipment and materials used to fulfill tasks and replenish supplies and keep simple records of work performed and materials used
- Uses safe and sanitary work practices when cleaning facilities and using cleaning chemicals
- Provides first class customer service to both internal and external customers and responds to inquiries, compliments, and/or complaints with professionalism, courtesy, and efficiency
- Answers questions in a courteous and professional manner
- Determines needs and seeks positive experiences and outcomes
- Completes all training and development requirements and participates in continuing education opportunities
- Works in a collaborative and supportive manner to support the productivity and safety of the work area, team members and customers of all types
