We are currently looking for a Full Time Operations Manager to join our Hub Operations team located at the Carl Albert Service Center working .
Summary:
Provides administrative direction and oversight for the Hub, including branding, service offerings, team effectiveness and facility expansion.
Responsibilities:
- Attends strategic planning meetings for Tribal Health
- Assists in the design of policies and strategies which will attract customers and increase profits
- Oversees all financial transactions at the Hub Café
- Attends Markets and Trade Shows to find new and current merchandise with Café Manager and Catering Coordinator
- Ensure that all health codes and guidelines are being followed and equipment is properly maintained and in working condition
- Forecasts future sales based on industry, market, and seasonal promotions at a facility level to generate growth for Hub Café
- Oversees daily, monthly and quarterly sales revenue reports through Excel spreadsheets and various revenue reporting systems at facility level for reporting P/L for the Hub Cafe
- Understands and implements departmental objectives, standards, guidelines and budgets to maximize the revenues at the facility level
- Forecast future budget and staffing needs based upon information supplied
- Work with CDI in order to provide work opportunities for program participants
- Develops new recipes and menu items
- Maintains a safe and organized work environment
- Establishes a congenial and professional relationship with all departments to ensure consistency within the Chickasaw Nation
- Assists Management by being accountable for budgetary costs to include but not limited to food cost, labor cost and controllable expenses by managing the strategic vision of the restaurant
- Develops initiatives to increase sales, control costs and manage appropriate inventories with the Café Manager
- Maintains confidentiality, security, and integrity of data and information
- Completes incident/ accident reports promptly as needed
- Oversees the operations of multiple facilities including space planning, hours of operation, services offered, staffing requirements, equipment, cleanliness, safety and appeal to client engagement.
- Identifies process improvement opportunities and presents resolutions and recommendations to Health Engagement Director
- Oversees the Management team in the overall maturation and growth of the HUB at current and future locations
- Provides on-going instruction, education, guidance, coaching and support for HUB team
- Facilitates goal-level creation for the broader function and work with Café Manager to ensure the goals cascade to all workers
- Ensures clarity around priorities and goals for the entire functional area
- Provides positive leadership to all direct reports, encouraging a team approach, professional attitude and relationships, always modeling best practices in this regard
- Manage projects of varying scope, from design to final implementation/results
- Conducts monthly meetings with Cafe Manager, providing constructive feedback and direction for brand consistency
- Ensures that Cafe Manager communicates departmental procedures to promote understanding and compliance by employees to maintain smooth and effective departmental operations
- Relates policies to his/her direct reports while ensuring adherence and consistent enforcement
- Administers the development and maintenance of the HUB brand for internal and external communications, marketing activities and engagement material
- Ensures adequate staffing for the shift by assisting in the selection of staff for open positions and arranging for contingency staff in correlation with business needs and/or guest satisfaction standards on designated shift with the Café Manager
- Manages direct report job functions, development, and job performance including but not limited to, scheduling and tracking of employee IDP goals, annual evaluation, employee’s development, and disciplinary action up to and including termination
- Carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organizations policies and applicable laws
- Assists Interviewing and hiring with Cafe Manager; training direct report; planning, scheduling, assigning and directing work through the Café Manager; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining direct report; addressing complaints and resolving problems
