Full Stack Software Engineer III responsible for building and modernizing customer and associate digital experiences in an AWS environment. Leads API development, infrastructure automation, and data lake initiatives while collaborating with cross‑functional teams. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy customer‑facing self‑service web applications using React and Node.js in an AWS environment.
- Build and maintain backend APIs, migrating legacy .NET applications to cloud‑native services and orchestrating container workloads with Docker and Kubernetes.
- Implement infrastructure as code with Terraform and automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Create and populate a data lake house, writing data pipelines and SQL scripts for analytics and reporting.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to translate business requirements into technical solutions and provide architectural guidance.
- Conduct code reviews, unit testing, and integration testing to ensure quality and reliability of software releases.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical discussions on best practices for front‑end and back‑end development.
- Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and optimize application scalability and cost efficiency on AWS.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- 10 years of software development experience, including 5 years in front‑end and database development.
- Proficiency in AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Strong knowledge of React, Vue, HTML/CSS, Node.js, Express, and TypeScript.
- Experience with SQL, Python, and PowerShell scripting.
- Familiarity with container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Hands‑on experience with CI/CD pipelines, especially GitHub Actions.
- Ability to design and implement SPA and BFF architectures.
Preferred Skills
