SUMMARY:

The Human Resources (HR) Administrative Assistant position performs a variety of administrative duties within and for the Agency With Choice (AWC) program, in relation to the HR functions.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Participate, collaborate and/or implement The Arc of Chester County’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
- Complete all training and qualifications requirements.
- Perform receptionist and clerical duties for AWC HR such as administrative correspondence with current SSPs answering phones, emails, filing, copying, scanning, preparing correspondence/letters, mailings, sending and receiving faxes.
- Maintain SSP personnel files, both physical and electronic, throughout the SSP employee life cycle, archive according to agency procedures, and when appropriate create a file.
- Assist in pulling SSP personnel files, and making sure the files are returned to the secure file location.
- Respond to HR administrative inquiries via phone and email, and direct to the correct contact.
- Assist in tracking and filing completed SSP orientation and annual training.
- Provide administrative support to the AWC HR team for AWC HR administrative functions.
- Provide coverage for other administrative staff, as needed.
- Participate in departmental, agency, and other meetings as needed and required.
- Participate in Arc sponsored events.
- Other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or GED required, with at least 3 years administrative experience.
- 1 year of Human Resources experience required.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
- Knowledge of computer equipment, word processing and data base software
- Knowledge of operation of fax, copier, telephone, mail, and other office equipment
