The Assistant Director of Agency With Choice (AWC) provides high-level support to the Director in ensuring the effective day-to-day operations of the AWC program. This position is directly responsible for supervising the assigned AWC program staff, ensuring high-quality case management, effective participant onboarding and discharge procedures, and ensuring regulatory compliance, service quality, and participant satisfaction.

Minimum of bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification/experience. Three years related management experience and/or training.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Participate, collaborate and/or implement The Arc of Chester County’s 5-year Strategic Plan.
- Complete all training and qualifications requirements.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training, assigning, supervision and evaluation of assigned AWC program staff in conjunction with AWC Director and in accordance with agency policy, program requirements and regulations.
- Remediate any fiscal issues related to PM or PC performance, such as, late timecards, vendor payments, edits, denials, late billing.
- Responsible for incidents and the life cycle of the incident, including classification, reporting, documentation, and corrective action in accordance with agency and ODP policies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of incident corrective actions and analyze incident trends in categories, targets, timeliness, etc. Develop, implement, and monitor corrective actions to address any areas identified as areas of concern.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of all AWC program operations to ensure the delivery of quality services, and ensure alignment with regulatory standards, best practices, and participant needs. Develop, implement, and monitor corrective actions to address any areas identified as areas of concern.
- Monitor and recommend caseload adjustments, staffing ratios, and resource distribution to ensure optimal service delivery and staff support.
- Oversee vendor services in accordance with agency policies and procedures, and funder requirements.
- Ensure business continuity and provide coverage during staff absences so deadlines are always met.
- Lead audits and ensure staff adherence to documentation, data entry, and billing requirements across all levels of the program.
- Communicate and coordinate organizational updates, initiatives, and changes with all program requirements.
- Assist the AWC team to review, develop and implement departmental policies, procedures, plans, and training to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Develop the intake process and ensure all aspects of the intake process for participants and Managing Employers are carried out efficiently, in accordance with agency policy and procedures.
- Manage enrollment issues related to authorization, eligibility, or documentation and escalate complex issues to the Director as needed.
- Manage the exit process for participants and Managing Employers, ensuring a smooth transition and accurate data updates.
- Monitor intake and exit tracking tools and ensure timely follow-up on open referrals or discharges.
- Represent the AWC program in meetings, community events, and stakeholder engagements as needed.
- Participate in Arc sponsored events
- Other duties as assigned.

- Ability to work independently, to set priorities and follow through on details.
- Experience coordinating and working with volunteers

Salary : $75,000 - $85,000
