- Guide clients on location choices, entity structures, supply chain optimization, and capital mobilization, considering tax risks, effective tax rates, and cash flow.
- Assist with tax planning, analyzing short- and long-term implications aligned with business objectives.
- Support structuring of mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and IPOs, including drafting tax opinions, memos, and models.
- Prepare tax provisions for financial statements and review compliance and tax reporting related to global operations.
- Advise on income tax treaty opportunities for cross-border investments and trading activities.
- Provide expertise to alternative investment firms throughout the investment lifecycle.
- At least five years of experience in international, M&A, or federal tax planning.
- Bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees (JD, LLM) and CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred.
- Knowledge of international and domestic tax laws, strong research, modeling, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, lead teams, develop client relationships, and foster professional growth.
