Automotive and Diesel Technician

Role: The Senior Automotive and Diesel Technician is responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and performing complex vehicle services to ensure customer satisfaction and adherence to safety and quality standards.

Key Duties

• Diagnose vehicles based on certification and experience levels.
• Perform repairs outlined on inspection and repair orders efficiently and accurately.
• Handle heavy-duty and complex repairs.
• Explain diagnoses and repairs to customers and team members.
• Recommend necessary services and document all customer interactions.
• Follow safety procedures and company policies.
• Work with computerized diagnostics equipment and demonstrate technical expertise.
  
  

Qualifications & Skills

• Previous automotive technician or mechanic experience required; ASE certifications preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate diagnostic tools.
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical training preferred.
• Ability to work in varied environmental conditions and perform physical tasks such as lifting and standing.
