A well-established industrial manufacturer is seeking a skilled CNC Setup Operator to join its team. This is a hands-on role focused on precision machining of critical components used in chemical, wastewater, and industrial applications.

Position Overview:
Pay: $28.73/hour (union position)
Full-time, 8-hour shifts (typically starting at 6:00 AM or 7:00 AM)
Fully onsite role
Hands-on position requiring both CNC and manual machining experience

Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate CNC and manual lathes and mills
Machine high-precision pump components with tight tolerances
Read and interpret blueprints and perform precision measurements
Use micrometers, calipers, and other inspection tools
Perform preventative maintenance on equipment
Maintain quality and production standards
Work independently with minimal supervision
Support and guide junior team members as needed

Qualifications:
Strong machine setup experience (not operator-level)
Experience with both CNC and manual machining
Proficiency in blueprint reading
Skilled with precision measurement tools
High school diploma required; technical training preferred
