AP Coordinator

Construction Company | Fully Onsite

$65,000–$68,000

A growing construction company is seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to support high-volume AP operations and ensure timely, accurate processing of invoices and payments. This fully onsite role partners with branch teams and corporate accounting to maintain vendor relationships and support financial operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Process invoices, expense reports, and PO-based transactions
  • Ensure tax accuracy and apply use tax as needed
  • Coordinate with branches to resolve discrepancies and maintain workflows
  • Support subcontractor payments and vendor inquiries
  • Reconcile AP accounts and review aging reports
  • Prepare and process weekly payments (check/EFT)
  • Ensure compliance, including 1099 preparation
  • Assist with reporting, month-end close, and audits

Qualifications

  • 2 years of Accounts Payable experience (high-volume preferred)
  • Associate degree or higher in Accounting/Finance (preferred)
  • Experience with accounting systems (e.g., Sage, SAP, Oracle)
  • Strong Excel, attention to detail, and communication skills
  • Construction experience a plus

Salary : $65,000 - $68,000
