Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Delivery Dispatcher to support our Sacramento delivery operations. This role is responsible for coordinating delivery orders, assisting drivers in real time, and ensuring a smooth and compliant customer experience from order placement to delivery completion.
The ideal candidate is organized, calm under pressure, and comfortable multitasking in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
Dispatch & Order Coordination
- Process and manage delivery orders using POS and routing platforms (Weedmaps and similar systems)
- Monitor driver routes and delivery progress to ensure accuracy and timeliness
- Provide real-time support and troubleshooting for delivery drivers
- Communicate delays, issues, or changes promptly to customers and management
- Assist with packaging and preparing delivery orders as needed
Customer Service
- Serve as the primary point of contact for customer calls, texts, and online inquiries
- Provide friendly, professional assistance throughout the ordering process
- Resolve customer concerns and escalate issues to management when necessary
- Maintain strong communication with drivers and internal teams
Administrative & Compliance Support
- Track and report delivery performance and operational issues
- Maintain accurate records of deliveries, communications, and inventory flow
- Ensure compliance with company policies and California cannabis regulations
- Support management with dispatch process improvements
Qualifications
- Must be 21 years of age or older
- Previous experience in dispatch, logistics, retail, or customer service preferred
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable using POS systems and dispatch software
- Flexible availability, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must pass a state background check and meet all cannabis compliance requirements
