We are seeking a motivated, results-driven Store Manager to lead daily operations, support team development, and ensure an outstanding customer experience.
Position Summary
The Store Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, driving sales performance, maintaining strict regulatory compliance, and fostering a positive, high-performing work environment. This role works closely with the Regional Manager to achieve business goals, develop team members, and optimize store performance.
Responsibilities
Store Operations & Leadership
- Oversee daily store operations and act as Manager on Duty
- Partner with the Regional Manager to meet sales targets and KPIs
- Recruit, train, coach, and mentor staff to strengthen product knowledge and customer service
- Create and manage employee schedules to ensure proper staffing and coverage
- Lead visual merchandising, promotions, and in-store marketing initiatives
Compliance, Inventory & Cash Management
- Ensure full compliance with Department of Cannabis Control (DCC) regulations and company policies
- Conduct audits for inventory, cash, and timekeeping; investigate and resolve discrepancies
- Manage cash handling procedures, including cash drops and armored courier coordination
- Oversee opening and closing procedures according to company standards
Customer Experience & Problem Resolution
- Address escalated customer concerns and resolve issues professionally
- Maintain a welcoming, safe, and compliant store environment
- Build strong relationships with customers, staff, and cross-functional teams
Operational Excellence
- Identify operational inefficiencies and implement effective solutions
- Maintain accurate records and reporting as required
- Support company initiatives and process improvements
Qualifications
- Must be 25 years of age or older
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or management experience (retail preferred)
- Strong knowledge of cannabis compliance regulations preferred
- Bilingual skills are a plus
- Proficiency with Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Drive)
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Strong math skills and experience with cash handling
- Reliable transportation and open availability
- Ability to commit to a minimum 50-hour work week
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and lift up to 30 lbs
- Comfortable working in varying temperatures and a fast-paced retail environment
Work Environment
- Retail store, warehouse, and delivery-related environments
- Frequent interaction with staff, customers, and occasionally law enforcement
- Ability to manage high-pressure situations and conflict resolution
