We are seeking a Counter-Uncrewed Systems & Counter-IED (C-UXS/C-IED) Specialist to support the development and integration of Counter-Uncrewed Systems (C-UXS) and Counter-Improvised Explosive Devices (C-IED) capabilities within a complex multinational defence environment.
The role combines C-UAS/C-UXS, C-IED, counter-threat and force protection, capability development, requirements management, DOTMLPFI, and programme/project management across tactical, operational, and strategic levels.
Security Clearance: Active Secret-level security clearance required
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development and integration of C-UXS/C-IED capability products across the full capability lifecycle.
- Support C-UAS, counter-threat, force protection, and C-IED capability development activities.
- Support the development, analysis, evaluation, and traceability of capability and operational requirements.
- Contribute to capability targets, system specifications, interoperability requirements, and requirements management.
- Support the development and review of policies, doctrines, directives, concepts of operation/employment, and courses of action.
- Contribute to DOTMLPFI development, coordination, and synchronization.
- Support C-UXS/C-IED programmes, projects, capability initiatives, and validation activities.
- Coordinate with senior military, civilian, technical, and multinational stakeholders from strategic to tactical levels.
- Prepare and support senior-level briefings, workshops, seminars, conferences, and meetings.
- Maintain programme and capability status information and contribute to lessons learned and best practices.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Master’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Information Systems, Aeronautics, Operations Research, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related discipline; or Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 5 years of operational experience in C-UXS/C-UAS, C-IED, counter-threat, or force protection functions at Tactical, Operational, or Strategic level within the last 12 years.
- Experience in areas such as C-UAS Staff Officer, C-UAS Cell Lead, Counter-Threat/Force Protection Staff Officer, or C-IED Team/Cell within a Joint Headquarters.
- Minimum 3 years of experience briefing senior leaders and decision-makers within the last 10 years.
- Minimum 2 years of programme/project management experience, preferably focused on military or defence capability development.
- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a multinational military, defence, or international organization.
- Strong knowledge of C-UXS/C-UAS, C-IED, Force Protection, Capability Development, DOTMLPFI, Requirements Management, and Interoperability.
