Enrollment Assistant

Position Summary TEC Connections Academy Commonwealth Virtual School (TECCA) is a tuition-free virtual public school district that employs over 240 faculty and staff, serving our diverse population of approximately 3,000 students in Grades K–12 from cities and towns across Massachusetts. This full time in office role provides administrative support for student enrollment. The Administrative Assistant is responsible for a variety of daily tasks, including verifying student documents, answering phones and emails, corresponding with families and other school districts regarding enrollment, greeting visitors, supporting administrators, and performing other duties as assigned. Key Responsibilities -Assist families through the application process and address general program questions. -Evaluate and verify documents submitted in the Enrollment Portal to ensure accuracy and compliance with enrollment requirements. -Assist families, school districts, and Social Workers with enrollment-related inquiries. - Send outgoing requests for records to schools for enrolling students. -Collaborate with internal departments to gather and clarify information needed to support the enrollment process. -Pull and analyze daily reports to track students throughout the enrollment process and determine required next steps for each stage. - Monitor the team enrollment chat and follow up on enrollment needs with vendor. - Monitor enrollment flag reports and collaborate with Assistant Principals, or designee, to proactively resolve issues impacting student enrollment. -Partner with school Social Workers to streamline the enrollment process for families who qualify for McKinney-Vento services. -Manage communication with vendors regarding technology fulfillment and ensure laptops are shipped promptly to new families. -Support student data entry into the state reporting system. -Collaborate with school and departmental administrators to streamline the enrollment process. - Assist administration with a wide variety of special projects. -Answer phones and greet guests. - Other duties as assigned.
