As a Sales Account Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting high-profile automotive projects, fostering strong customer relationships, and driving business growth in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain strong relationships with existing automotive customers.
- Support new business development efforts and identify account growth opportunities.
- Coordinate customer requests with internal engineering, production, quality, and logistics departments.
- Act as the primary point of contact for customer communication regarding programs, schedules, and project updates.
- Assist with customer launches, program changes, and ongoing production activities.
- Monitor customer satisfaction and collaborate to resolve issues promptly.
- Prepare sales reports, presentations, forecasts, and documentation for management and headquarters.
- Collaborate with global teams and communicate effectively with overseas affiliates.
Must-Have Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (preferred).
- 2 years’ experience in automotive sales, account management, program management, or customer-facing manufacturing roles.
- Strong communication and relationship-building abilities.
- Proven experience managing multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience working with OEM or Tier 1 automotive suppliers.
- Background in technical sales, program management, or manufacturing engineering with customer interface.
- Familiarity with automotive customer launches and project coordination.
- Experience in Tier 1 supplier customer support or OEM account management.
- Japanese language skills.
