Key Responsibilities- Create equipment reliability metrics and work with operations and maintenance teams to enhance equipment reliability.
- Perform data analysis to identify improvement areas for machine assets.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with equipment failures.
- Conduct Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA) and Failure Mode Effects Analysis (FMEA).
- Review downtime reports and equipment histories to solve recurring maintenance issues.
- Implement condition monitoring techniques like vibration analysis and oil analysis.
- Utilize IoT technology to predict failures and develop preventive maintenance strategies.
- Evaluate and improve preventive maintenance programs.
- Identify cost reductions through extended parts life and standardization.
- Assess system reliability and recommend improvements.
- Coordinate inspections for high voltage equipment.
- Manage engineering and contractor resources.
- Oversee parts storeroom and ensure accurate inventory levels.
- Collaborate with Purchasing to enhance reliability in purchased components.
- Ensure part availability for planned maintenance work orders.
- Bachelor's degree in relevant engineering fields or certifications in reliability engineering.
- 2-5 years of experience in maintenance reliability.
- 3-5 years of experience implementing a reliability program.
- Project management experience.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Excel, Word, and Office.
- Familiarity with reliability engineering principles and methodologies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Continuous improvement mindset.
