Our client is seeking an experienced and results-driven leader to manage manufacturing operations across multiple shifts. This role is vital for ensuring high performance through effective team leadership and strategic oversight, contributing significantly to the company's success.
Key Responsibilities- Cultivate a high-performance work environment emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and employee involvement.
- Build and adjust production schedules to balance customer needs with workforce and machinery utilization.
- Evaluate performance data, generate reports, and present findings to executive leadership.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory safety requirements, and quality management systems.
- Develop and coach supervisors to drive strong team results.
- Lead lean initiatives, process improvements, and continuous improvement projects.
- Provide leadership and guidance to supervisors for efficient operations around the clock.
- Oversee daily output metrics and implement improvement plans to achieve or exceed targets in safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost control.
- Maintain accurate and timely records and documentation.
- Collaborate with other functions to troubleshoot challenges and enhance performance.
- Bachelor’s degree required with a minimum of 6 years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience.
- Proven track record of successfully leading teams with decision-making authority on personnel matters.
- Strong knowledge of modern manufacturing methods, processes, and best practices.
- Experience in applying policies and procedures, with exposure to departmental budgeting, planning, and process development.
- Ability to manage complex responsibilities within defined procedures and frameworks.
