General Laborer/Assembler

Job Title: General Laborer/Assembler

Shift: 1st Shift

Pay: $16-20/hr.

Location: Belding, MI

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and package consumer products according to work instructions, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Perform repetitive assembly tasks using hand tools, power tools, and assembly fixtures.
• Inspect parts and finished products to ensure quality specifications are met.
• Load materials and components into production equipment and assembly stations.
• Label, package, and prepare finished products for shipment.
• Maintain accurate production records and complete required documentation.
• Assist with machine operation, product changeovers, and basic equipment adjustments as needed.
• Identify and report quality, safety, or production concerns to supervisors.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with safety and housekeeping standards.
• Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily production goals and customer requirements.
• Follow all company safety procedures, quality standards, and manufacturing best practices.
• Perform other general labor duties as assigned in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or general labor experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift up to 25-50 pounds as needed.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Reliable transportation and good attendance are required.
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented manufacturing environment.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and experience using hand tools is a plus.
• Willingness to learn new processes and take direction from supervisors.
• Ability to pass pre-employment screening requirements.
