Job Title: Part Washer/General Laborer
Shift: 1st shift (Monday-Friday, 5 AM - 3:30 PM)
Pay: $18/hr.
Location: Grand Rapids, MI
Overview:
We are seeking a dependable Part Washer / General Laborer to join a growing metal fabrication and manufacturing operation in the Byron Center area. This position is responsible for cleaning and preparing metal parts for downstream production processes while supporting general shop and production needs.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and wash fabricated metal parts using designated equipment and cleaning processes.
- Inspect parts for cleanliness, quality, and finish before moving to the next production stage.
- Grind, deburr, and perform light finishing work as needed.
- Load, unload, and move materials throughout the production area.
- Assist with packaging, assembly, and general production support duties.
- Operate basic hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications:
- Previous manufacturing, production, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
- Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, and working with metal products.
- Ability to follow work instructions and maintain quality standards.
- Strong attention to detail and reliability.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
