Job Title: Production Support Associate
Location: Hudsonville, MI
Shift: 3rd Shift - 11pm-7am Sunday-Thursday
Pay: $20/hr
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Production Support Associate to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting end-of-line production, ensuring products are properly packaged, labeled, and prepared for shipment while maintaining smooth production flow. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and works well in a team setting.
Key Responsibilities:
End-of-Line Production Support:
- Remove finished goods from the production line and stack securely on pallets
- Ensure accurate labeling, counts, and organization of pallets for storage or shipment
- Support operations on the Variety Pack line as needed
Core Production Duties:
- Operate packaging equipment and monitor performance
- Perform basic troubleshooting to minimize downtime
- Ensure consistent supply of packaging materials (cardboard, etc.) to prevent delays
- Collaborate with Quality Control, Logistics, and other departments to maintain efficient production flow
Specialized Duties:
- Maintain a working knowledge of filler operations and provide backup support when needed
Work Environment:
- Work near machinery, forklift traffic, and active production lines
- Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and safety protocols at all times
- Fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment
Safety & Cleanliness:
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to meet sanitation standards
- Follow all company safety policies to prevent accidents and contamination
- Ensure compliance with all workplace safety regulations
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Ability to lift up to 40–50 lbs
- Frequent bending, lifting, and repetitive motion
