Key Responsibilities
- Perform nuclear medicine procedures accurately and efficiently following department protocols
- Operate imaging and radiation detection equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images
- Transfer and position patients safely for examinations and procedures
- Prepare, administer, document, and dispose of radiopharmaceuticals and pharmaceuticals under physician supervision
- Perform and document quality control checks on all equipment to ensure regulatory compliance and proper functionality
- Maintain accurate records for shipping, receiving, storage, use, and disposal of radioactive materials
- Conduct room surveys, wipe tests, and bioassays according to safety guidelines
- Schedule exams and verify physician orders before procedures
- Maintain patient records and submit required documentation to medical records
- Ensure examination rooms and equipment remain clean, organized, and fully stocked
- Cross-train in additional departmental technologies as needed
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and healthcare staff
- Exercise independent judgment and assist in coordinating departmental activities when required
- Minimum 6 months of related Nuclear Medicine experience
- Strong organizational, multitasking, and time management skills
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and patient care abilities
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Graduate of an AMA-approved Nuclear Medicine Technology Program
- CNMT (Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist) or ARRT (N) Certification required
- Current CPR Certification required
Salary : $56 - $58
