Get to Know Your Team:
- Hillcrest Hospital South is a full-service 180-bed hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services using state-of-the-art technology in a friendly community setting. Consistent performance has helped the hospital be nationally recognized for patient safety.
- Coordinate and prepare radio-pharmaceuticals for patient procedures.
- Educate and support patients to promote comfort and cooperation.
- Perform a variety of nuclear medicine and cardiology imaging studies, including image acquisition, processing and patient monitoring.
- Maintain high standards for imaging quality and patient positioning to ensure accurate diagnostic results.
- Use PACS systems proficiently.
- Maintain inventory and documentation related to radio-pharmaceuticals including receiving, dispensing and disposal.
Job Requirements:
- Must be registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (A.R.R.T.) with advanced certification in Nuclear Medicine or the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (N.M.T.C.B.) or be a graduate of an approved School of Nuclear Medicine Technology and be registry eligible.
- If registry eligible upon hire, you must become registered within one year of employment and maintain registry while employed.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care. #LI-KM1
