Responsibilities:
- Own project coordination across multiple departments—tracking progress, following up with stakeholders, and ensuring deadlines are met without constant oversight
- Manage purchasing and supply ordering for key programs (including large-scale orders and specialty items), ensuring cost-efficiency and timely delivery
- Coordinate and maintain relationships with a large vendor network (3,000 vendors), including sourcing, communication, and performance tracking
- Review contracts and reports, triaging documents and moving them efficiently through internal workflows
- Manage and maintain robust and detailed inventory spreadsheets and tracking
- Maintain and organize documentation within SharePoint; ensure systems are clean, accessible, and up to date
- Step in wherever needed—this is a dynamic role requiring flexibility, initiative, and a mission-first mindset
Qualifications:
- Highly tech-savvy with the ability to quickly learn and navigate multiple systems
- Experience with purchasing, supply ordering, and vendor coordination
- Comfort working across diverse teams and communicating effectively in a multicultural environment
- Proven ability to manage projects and priorities independently - not afraid to jump in and assist with limited info
- Demonstrated ability to work without supervision, juggle multiple priorities, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Exceptional organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- No degree required—relevant experience is the priority
Preferred Skills:
- Background in nonprofit or healthcare environments
- Experience reviewing contracts, reports, or assessor documentation
- Advanced Excel skills (trackers, pivot tables, data organization)
- Confidence to execute tasks with multiple unknown variables
- Drive and desire to help New Yorkers suffering with air quality related healthcare issues
Pay range and compensation package:
Competitive hourly pay: $30–$32/hour, with overtime eligibility.
