About the Role
ODonnell & Son Heating and Cooling Inc is looking for a skilled HVAC Install Technician to join our Field Operations team. You’ll install a wide variety of residential and light commercial HVAC systems, including ductwork, hydronics, mini-splits, VRF systems, and rooftop units. This is a hands-on role for detail-oriented, customer-focused professionals ready to grow in a dynamic, tech-forward company.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform HVAC system installations in residential and light commercial settings
- Install ductwork, hydronics, mini-splits, traditional splits, VRF systems, and rooftop units
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical documentation
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to ensure timely, high-quality work
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Communicate professionally with customers and team members
- Operate tools, equipment, and technology efficiently
- Follow company safety procedures and local HVAC codes
Qualifications
- 3 years of HVAC installation experience preferred
- Proficiency in residential and light commercial systems
- Experience with hydronics, ductwork, VRF, rooftop units, and split systems
- Strong work ethic, quality focus, and customer-service orientation
- Leadership skills and ability to work independently
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Sheet metal, plumbing, or refrigeration licenses/certifications encouraged but not required
- Valid driver’s license
