Role Overview
This role leads a wealth management team to deliver comprehensive financial strategies aligned with each client’s goals and values. The Senior Wealth Advisor provides high-level guidance to high-net-worth clients while mentoring and developing associates, ensuring team growth and exceptional client service.
Key Responsibilities
- Cultivate and maintain client relationships, ensuring retention and confidence through demonstrated expertise
- Lead client meetings throughout the wealth planning cycle to identify complex issues and offer strategic solutions
- Collaborate with a wealth advisory team to deliver comprehensive wealth management advice and customized investment portfolios
- Support business development by participating in new client acquisition with strategic partners
- Commit to advanced continuing education and professional development for self and team
- Train, mentor, and support associates across the wealth advisory team
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 10 years’ experience in financial planning, accounting, legal services, or other relevant professional environment
- Active Series 65, CFP®, or CFA® designation required
Skills & Knowledge
- Wealth management experience with fee-based consulting, tax, mutual funds, money manager programs, insurance, and comprehensive financial planning
- Proven experience working with high-net-worth or ultra-high-net-worth clients
- Proficiency with financial planning and investment software (e.g., eMoney, MoneyGuide Pro)
- Excellent interpersonal, relationship management, and communication skills
- Demonstrated talent development experience, including training and mentoring new staff
- Strong organizational and time-management skills in a fast-paced environment
- High attention to detail
Regulatory Requirement
- Clean regulatory record with no disclosures on Form U4
