About the Role
We are hiring for one of our clients an Electrical Maintenance Journeyman to support electrical installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting activities in a cement manufacturing environment. This is a full-time, onsite position reporting to the Electrical Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical installation, repair, and preventive maintenance on plant equipment
- Troubleshoot and repair PLC and HMI systems
- Install and maintain electrical systems in accordance with applicable codes and standards
- Plan and document electrical maintenance and installation work
- Support continuous improvement of electrical systems and equipment reliability
- Work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
- Communicate effectively with employees at multiple organizational levels
- Maintain company equipment, tools, and work areas in safe condition
- Complete required safety and technical training
- Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies
Qualifications Required
- Associate’s degree in Electrical or Electronics field OR 5 years of equivalent training or experience
- Minimum 5 years of industrial electrical maintenance experience
- Current Electrical Journeyman license (as required by applicable law)
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills
Preferred
- Experience with CTI 505 and Allen-Bradley PLCs
- HMI programming experience
- Manufacturing or heavy industrial environment experience
Additional Requirements
- Ability to work safely in an industrial environment
- Ability to use required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators when job-related and safety-required
