Key Responsibilities
Field Leadership & Oversight
- Supervise and support site superintendents and field staff across multiple job sites
- Ensure projects align with company standards, policies, and procedures
- Coordinate daily, weekly, and long-term schedules with project managers
- Lead recurring coordination meetings with superintendents and subcontractors
Quality Control & Safety Compliance
- Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety standards on all job sites
- Oversee job site inspections, QA/QC efforts, and safety audits
- Implement corrective actions to address safety or quality issues
Subcontractor & Vendor Coordination
- Manage subcontractor performance and scope compliance
- Review and approve work plans, manpower needs, and material deliveries
- Resolve job site conflicts quickly to minimize schedule impacts
Scheduling & Resource Management
- Develop and maintain master construction schedules
- Allocate labor, equipment, and resources across projects efficiently
- Identify schedule risks early and implement mitigation strategies
Communication & Documentation
- Serve as the primary field liaison with clients, inspectors, and engineers
- Provide regular updates on progress, staffing, and safety to leadership
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of daily logs, reports, and records
Mentorship & Team Development
- Train and mentor superintendents, foremen, and field personnel
- Promote a positive job site culture built on professionalism and teamwork
Required Qualifications
- 10 years of construction field experience, including 5 years in a supervisory role
- Proven ability to manage multiple residential and/or commercial projects simultaneously
- Strong understanding of construction methods, codes, safety regulations, and scheduling
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency with project management and scheduling software (Phoenix, MS Project, Primavera, or similar)
- OSHA 30 Certification required (or willingness to obtain immediately)
