This is a role within Systems' Operations and Supply Chain group. A successful incumbent is expected to (i) Develop programming and perform calibration on automation equipment, maximizing equipment runtimes, and (ii) Support production needs, ensure completion of all equipment corrective work orders, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures. Requires 2 years experience in technical engineering, experience using, maintaining, and repairing robotic welding equipment and a minimum of a Technical or associate degree or equivalent experience.

The pay range for this position is $60,400.00 - $97,525.00; base pay offered may vary depending on a number of factors including, but not limited to, the position offered, location, education, training, and/or experience. In addition to base pay, also offered is a comprehensive benefits package and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). This position is eligible for participation in a short-term incentive plan subject to the terms of the applicable plans and policies.

Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Develop programming and perform calibration on automation equipment, maximizing equipment runtimes
- Support production needs, ensure completion of all equipment corrective work orders, troubleshoot and repair complex equipment failures
- Mentor and train operators and maintenance technicians on use of automation equipment
- Review equipment preventive maintenance best practices and recommend opportunities for improvement; implement changes as necessary
- Perform and assist in the repair and maintenance of robotic weld equipment, equipment hardware construction, perform validations, and document follow up actions
- Conduct equipment automation failure analysis, determine failure root causes, define containment and permanent actions, and follow up on implementation
- Assist in creating preventive maintenance work orders checklists to improve and maximize overall equipment usage
- Assist other technicians doing preventive maintenance on complex equipment
- Define programming methods/setups to maximize automation equipment usage
- Help maintain and maximize equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock regularly and placing purchase orders
- Utilize maintenance management system to perform work (e.g. record work history, identify parts usage) in a timely and effective manner
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group’s and Systems’ reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Education/Certifications:
- Technical degree, associate degree, or equivalent experience
- 2 years experience in technical engineering
- Experience using, maintaining, and repairing robotic welding equipment
- Proficient knowledge measurement instruments use like multimeters, programable power supplies, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, frequency counters, and signal generators.
- Proficient understanding of electrical schematics as well as mechanical drawings.
- Proficient in computers and basic software applications.
- Able to use electrical and mechanical tools, such screw drivers, wrenches, drill bits, drill taper, for hardware construction.
- Basic knowledge in analog circuitry, OPAMs, filters, transistors, FETs
