Position Overview
Seeking an experienced Systems Administrator to support enterprise infrastructure operations and cloud initiatives within a complex IT environment. This role is responsible for administering, monitoring, troubleshooting, and optimizing on-premises and cloud-based systems, ensuring high availability, security, and operational efficiency across infrastructure platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer and maintain Windows Server environments (2012 R2/2016/2019/2022) and Linux systems (Red Hat/Ubuntu).
- Support cloud platforms including AWS and Azure.
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security across enterprise infrastructure.
- Troubleshoot server, network, application, and cloud-related issues.
- Manage IIS administration and server configurations.
- Support Azure DevOps environments, repositories, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Configure and maintain networking services including DNS, TCP/IP, firewalls, and file-sharing solutions.
- Implement infrastructure automation and performance optimization initiatives.
- Administer Microsoft 365 and identity management solutions.
- Develop technical documentation and operational procedures.
- Collaborate with technical teams to implement scalable and innovative infrastructure solutions.
- Participate in after-hours, weekend, and on-call support activities as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 5 years of Systems Administration or Infrastructure Engineering experience.
- Experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and systems operations.
- Hands-on experience with Windows Server administration (2012 R2, 2016, 2019, 2022).
- IIS Administration experience.
- Experience with networking technologies including TCP/IP, DNS, NTFS permissions, and file-sharing services.
- AWS cloud administration experience.
- Experience supporting Linux environments (Red Hat and Ubuntu).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Microsoft Azure services.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 administration.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
- Exposure to Google Cloud Platform or other cloud platforms.
- Experience with API Management platforms and middleware technologies.
- Knowledge of Identity and Access Management (IAM), cybersecurity principles, and security hardening practices.
