Facilities & Operations Support Specialist
Job Summary
We are seeking a Facilities & Operations Support Specialist to assist with building maintenance, fleet support, and day-to-day operational needs. This position helps ensure agency facilities, equipment, and vehicles are safe, functional, and well-maintained.
Responsibilities
- Perform routine building inspections and minor maintenance repairs.
- Assist with furniture assembly, moving equipment, and facility setup.
- Conduct vehicle inspections, fueling, cleaning, and maintenance coordination.
- Transport equipment, supplies, and materials between locations.
- Maintain fleet records and basic reports using Microsoft Office.
- Follow safety procedures and respond to operational requests as needed.
- Support facility, fleet, and special projects assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Valid driver's license required.
- Experience in facilities maintenance, custodial work, fleet operations, or general maintenance preferred.
- Basic knowledge of building systems, equipment, and repairs.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to climb ladders, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.
- Ability to travel between agency locations as needed.
