Our challenge
We are seeking a highly skilled Functional Consultant – SAP GRC & Security to lead and support enterprise-wide governance, risk, compliance, and security initiatives across SAP landscapes.
This role requires deep expertise in SAP GRC (Access Control, Process Control, Risk Management) and SAP Security, along with hands-on experience integrating SAP environments with IAM/IDM, SSO, and SSL-based authentication frameworks.
The ideal candidate will drive secure access management, compliance enforcement, and identity governance while ensuring seamless integration with enterprise security platforms.
The Role
Responsibilities:
- Lead design and implementation of SAP GRC solutions including:
- Access Control (ARA, ARM, EAM)
- Process Control
- Risk Management
- Manage SAP Security administration, including role design, authorization concepts, and user provisioning
- Design and implement segregation of duties (SoD) controls and compliance frameworks
- Integrate SAP systems with enterprise IAM/IDM platforms for identity lifecycle management
- Design and support SSO (Single Sign-On) solutions using SAML, OAuth, or similar protocols
- Ensure secure communication using SSL/TLS configurations and certificate management
- Collaborate with enterprise security teams to align SAP security with Zero Trust and identity governance strategies
- Design and implement automated user provisioning, access request workflows, and approvals
- Support audit readiness, compliance reporting, and regulatory requirements (SOX, GDPR, etc.)
- Integrate SAP with third-party security and monitoring platforms
- Develop functional specifications and work with technical teams on enhancements and integrations
- Conduct risk analysis, access reviews, and remediation activities
- Support S/4HANA transformations, including GRC and security redesign
- Lead testing (SIT/UAT), documentation, and end-user training
- Provide production support and continuous improvement for SAP security frameworks
Requirements:
- 7 years of SAP experience with strong expertise in SAP GRC and SAP Security
- Hands-on experience with GRC Access Control, Process Control, and Risk Management modules
- Proven experience implementing SAP Security role design and authorization frameworks
- Experience integrating SAP with IAM/IDM platforms (e.g., SailPoint, Okta, Azure AD, SAP IDM)
- Strong experience in SSO implementation (SAML, OAuth, Kerberos, etc.)
- Knowledge of SSL/TLS protocols, certificate management, and secure communications
- Experience working in regulated environments with audit and compliance requirements
- Strong understanding of identity and access governance frameworks
- Experience in SAP S/4HANA security and GRC implementations
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and stakeholder management skills

- Experience in financial services or highly regulated industries
- Knowledge of cloud identity platforms and hybrid identity architectures
- Experience with SAP Fiori security and UI authorization frameworks
- Understanding of Zero Trust Architecture and modern IAM strategies
- SAP certifications in GRC, Security, or S/4HANA
- Experience working with global teams and large enterprise programs

Salary : $130,000 - $135,000
