Our challenge
The role involves managing SAP Governance, Risk, and Compliance (GRC), ensuring robust SAP Security practices, and driving seamless integration with Identity Management (IDM), Identity & Access Management (IAM), Single Sign-On (SSO), and Secure Socket Layer (SSL) solutions. The consultant will collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, and auditors to ensure compliance, security, and efficiency across SAP landscapes.
Additional Information*
The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors. In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Charlotte, NC is $95k - $105k/year & benefits (see below).
The Role
Responsibilities:
- SAP GRC:
- Configure and maintain Access Control modules (ARA, EAM, BRM, CUP).
- Perform risk analysis, SoD (Segregation of Duties) checks, and remediation.
- Support audit requirements and compliance reporting.
- SAP Security:
- Design and implement role-based access controls (RBAC).
- Manage user provisioning, authorization concepts, and role maintenance.
- Conduct periodic reviews of user access and security policies.
- Integration with IDM/IAM:
- Collaborate with IAM teams to integrate SAP systems with enterprise identity solutions.
- Automate provisioning/de-provisioning workflows.
- Ensure compliance with corporate identity governance standards.
- SSO/SSL:
- Implement and support SAP Single Sign-On solutions.
- Configure SSL certificates for secure communication across SAP systems.
- Troubleshoot authentication and encryption-related issues.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work with auditors, compliance officers, and IT teams to ensure adherence to policies.
- Provide training and guidance to business users on SAP security and compliance processes.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in SAP GRC Access Control modules.
- Expertise in SAP Security design, role management, and authorization concepts.
- Experience integrating SAP with IDM/IAM platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure AD, SAP IDM).
- Knowledge of SSO technologies (Kerberos, SAML, X.509) and SSL certificate management.
- Familiarity with compliance frameworks (SOX, GDPR, ISO 27001).
- Excellent problem-solving, documentation, and communication skills.
Preferred, but not required:
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- SAP certifications in GRC or Security preferred.
- Experience in large-scale SAP implementations or support projects
