Inside Sales Representative – PG9

Key Responsibilities
- Prospecting & Lead Gen
- Conduct outbound outreach (email, phone, social) to target accounts and segments.
- Qualify inbound leads from Marketing campaigns and events; set discovery meetings for field or account executives as needed.
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistent activity cadence aligned to quarterly goals.
- CRM & Pipeline Management
- Own accurate CRM hygiene: log activities, update opportunity stages, forecast probabilities, and maintain account/contact records.
- Create and run CRM reports and dashboards to monitor performance, conversion rates, and funnel health.
- Segment and prioritize accounts using data (propensity models, historic spend, product mix, whitespace).
- Sales Execution
- Conduct discovery to understand customer needs, decision criteria, and buy timelines.
- Present Sylvamo’s value proposition, product portfolio, and pricing programs; prepare quotes in coordination with pricing and supply chain.
- Negotiate within guidelines to close orders and expand share-of-wallet across assigned accounts.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Marketing to execute campaigns, tailor messaging by segment, and provide feedback on lead quality and content needs.
- Coordinate with Supply Chain to align inventory, allocations, lead times, and order status; proactively communicate with customers to set expectations.
- Collaborate with Finance/Order Management as needed for credit checks, terms, and dispute resolution.
- Data, Analytics & Continuous Improvement
- Analyze customer trends, win/loss data, and channel performance to identify growth opportunities.
- Track and report KPIs recommend process improvements to increase efficiency and conversion rates.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitive landscape, and Sylvamo product updates.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Supply Chain, or a related field — or equivalent experience.
- 2–4 years of inside sales, sales development, or customer-facing commercial experience (manufacturing, paper/packaging, distribution, or B2B preferred).
- Proficiency with CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce, MS Dynamics, SAP C4C) and sales engagement tools.
- Strong analytical skills: ability to interpret data, build basic reports, and translate insights into action.
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), active listening, and relationship-building skills.
- Demonstrated success meeting or exceeding activity, pipeline, and revenue goals.
- Experience collaborating with Supply Chain/Operations (inventory, ATP, allocations, order status).
- Familiarity with marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot) and lead scoring.
- Advanced Excel/Sheets (VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, pivot tables); basic BI exposure (Power BI, Tableau) a plus.
- Knowledge of the paper/packaging industry and distributor/end-user sales channels.
- Customer Focus & Commercial Acumen: Aligns actions to customer value and profitable growth.
- Data Literacy: Uses data to prioritize, forecast, and improve conversion.
- Collaboration: Works seamlessly with Marketing, Supply Chain, and Sales leadership.
- Drive & Ownership: Manages time, pipeline, and results with minimal oversight.
- Communication: Clear, concise, and persuasive across audiences.
- Travel: Minimal to light (e.g., 0–10%) for training, key customer meetings, or trade events.
- Work Setup: [Onsite/Hybrid/Remote] with collaboration across time zones as needed.
