About the Role
Weโre looking for a Communications Consultant to join a high-performing Corporate Access / Investor Relations function within a leading financial services firm. This is a highly visible role that sits at the center of investment activity, acting as a key connector between internal investment teams and external corporate executives.
This position plays a critical role in enabling investment research by coordinating access to public company leadership (CEOs, Investor Relations teams) for Portfolio Managers and Analysts.
The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced, high-pressure environments, has strong executive presence, and brings prior experience within financial services or investment environments.
๐ฅ What Youโll Be Doing
- Coordinate and manage corporate access meetings between:
- Portfolio Managers / Investment Analysts
- Corporate executives (CEO, Investor Relations teams)
- Partner with investment teams to identify target companies and facilitate engagement
- Arrange meetings, site visits, calls, and investor events
- Manage end-to-end logistics including scheduling, RSVPs, venues, and communications
- Support investor trips and field visits (e.g., NYC, DC)
- Maintain accurate tracking of all activity within internal systems
- Handle high-touch communication with senior stakeholders
- Ensure a high level of professionalism when interacting with executives
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
๐ช๏ธ Environment & Workload
- Supports ~1,200โ1,300 corporate meetings annually
- Fast-paced, high-pressure investment environment
- Peak activity during earnings seasons (especially AugโSep and Fall)
- Requires quick thinking, strong prioritization, and precision in execution
๐ฏ Qualifications
- Background in financial services (required)
- Experience in Corporate Access
- Strong communication skills and executive presence
- Proven ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and operate under pressure
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Outlook for scheduling)
- Client or relationship management within asset management
- Exposure to working directly with Portfolio Managers and Analysts
- Experience supporting global or high-volume meeting coordination
