We are seeking a Grocery Store Director who believes that great operations start with great people. This leader will be responsible for driving store performance while creating a culture rooted in accountability, hospitality, and pride in quality.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, leads from the floor, and is passionate about delivering an exceptional experience for both guests and team members.
What You’ll Do
Culture & People Leadership
• Build and lead a high-performing team through coaching, mentorship, and clear expectations
• Create a positive, people-first culture where team members feel valued, supported, and inspired
• Develop future leaders by investing in training, growth, and succession planning
• Lead with integrity and consistency, setting the tone for the entire store
Quality & Standards Excellence
• Champion best-in-class product quality across all departments
• Ensure freshness, food safety, and presentation standards are consistently executed
• Establish a culture of pride in the product—from sourcing to shelf
• Conduct regular walkthroughs and audits to maintain elevated standards
Operational Leadership
• Oversee all day-to-day store operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency
• Drive performance through key metrics including sales, labor, shrink, and guest satisfaction
• Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce waste, and elevate execution
• Maintain a strong presence on the floor, leading by example
Guest Experience
• Foster a hospitality-driven environment that goes beyond transactions
• Ensure every guest interaction reflects care, quality, and attention to detail
• Respond to feedback and continuously improve the in-store experience
What You Bring
• 5 years of leadership experience in grocery, retail, or high-volume food operations
• Proven ability to lead large teams and develop strong internal talent
• Strong operational knowledge including inventory, merchandising, and financial performance
• Passion for food quality, freshness, and presentation
• A hands-on leadership style with a strong floor presence
• A mindset focused on culture, accountability, and continuous improvement
