- Opportunity to mentor junior team members and shape field operations best practices.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Senior Patient & Provider Engagement
- Serve as the primary senior-level field resource for high-volume and complex accounts, delivering on-site clinical support across patient evaluation, product ordering, fitting, and longitudinal follow-up.
- Lead patient and caregiver education on product application, care compliance, and outcome expectations, building confidence and ensuring durable adherence from initial engagement.
- Provide hands-on clinical support in wound care, lymphedema, vascular, rehabilitation, or compression therapy environments as required by territory needs.
- Identify and proactively escalate complex patient cases to clinical leadership, ensuring appropriate care pathways are followed and patient safety is maintained.
Order Management & Clinical Documentation
- Own end-to-end order coordination across assigned accounts—partnering with internal support teams to ensure accurate clinical documentation, payer compliance, and timely patient access to therapy.
- Navigate complex insurance verification scenarios including prior authorizations, payer appeals, and DME/HME coverage requirements with minimal oversight.
- Maintain precise, audit-ready records of patient status, field activity, and case progress within CRM and documentation systems; serve as a quality reference for junior team members.
Clinical Workflow Integration & Account Development
- Build and maintain trusted relationships with key decision-makers at healthcare facilities—positioning the organization as a preferred clinical and operational partner.
- Design and implement efficient, repeatable clinical protocols for product utilization that reduce friction and improve consistency across partner sites.
- Aggregate and communicate field-level insights to internal clinical and operations leadership to drive continuous improvement in patient experience, product adoption, and territory performance.
- Travel throughout the assigned region to fulfill patient, fitting, and partner facility commitments; travel expectation 50–75%, including overnight stays and drives of 5 hours.
Team Leadership & Mentorship
- Provide day-to-day guidance and field mentorship to junior Clinical Field Specialists, supporting onboarding, clinical skill development, and operational best practices.
- Act as an escalation resource for complex clinical questions, payer challenges, and provider relationship issues within the territory.
- Contribute to the development of training materials, field protocols, and standard operating procedures as directed by leadership.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 4–6 years of clinical or patient-facing healthcare experience, with a minimum of 2 years in a field-based MedTech, DME, or clinical services role.
- Clinical background required: Medical Assistant, Physical Therapist Assistant, Certified Nursing Assistant, or a comparable allied health credential.
- Demonstrated track record of managing complex patient cases and multi-site accounts independently, with measurable outcomes.
- Strong command of insurance workflows including prior authorization, payer appeals, and coverage verification specific to DME/HME environments.
