We are seeking a hands-on Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in a fast-moving medical device and sales environment.
This is a highly operational role focused on transactional accounting, reconciliations, inventory-related accounting support, and maintaining accurate financial records. We are looking for someone who has performed these functions independently before and can operate with minimal handholding.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, proactive, and comfortable working in a high-volume environment with multiple moving parts.

Responsibilities:
- Process Accounts Payable (A/P) and Accounts Receivable (A/R) transactions
- Perform bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate financial records and accounting data in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise
- Process vendor invoices, customer payments, and expense reports
- Assist with collections follow-up and payment tracking
- Support month-end close activities, journal entries, and account reconciliations
- Track and reconcile inventory-related transactions and costs
- Assist with sales commission reporting and reconciliation
- Review transactions for discrepancies and resolve issues proactively
- Collaborate with operations and sales teams to ensure billing accuracy
- Maintain organized accounting documentation and supporting records
- Support general accounting and operational finance functions as needed
What We Are Looking For:
- We are looking for a reliable, hands-on doer who is comfortable managing day-to-day bookkeeping responsibilities and maintaining accurate financial operations in a fast-paced environment.
- This is not a purely administrative role and not a high-level finance strategy role. The ideal candidate has strong operational accounting fundamentals, attention to detail, and the ability to execute consistently and independently.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 2 years of hands-on bookkeeping or accounting operations experience
- Strong experience with:
- Accounts Payable (A/P)
- Accounts Receivable (A/R)
- Bank reconciliations
- Credit card reconciliations
- General ledger maintenance
- Inventory accounting or inventory-related bookkeeping
- QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise proficiency required
- Strong data-entry accuracy with the ability to process high volumes of financial transactions efficiently
- Strong Microsoft Excel skills including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Filtering and Sorting
- Basic reconciliation and reporting functions
- Strong transaction-processing accuracy and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfortable handling confidential financial information
Preferred Experience
- Experience in inventory-based distribution, medical device, or product-based businesses
- Experience supporting commission reporting or sales-related accounting functions
- Associate's degree in accounting or equivalent practical experience preferred
